Childhood is the best time to help an individual make a smooth,
non-traumatic entry into dentistry. We feel children should be introduced to dentistry at about 3 years of age. Children's dentistry consists of necessary treatment that will reduce the need for later extensive adult dentistry.

Since adult teeth can last a lifetime, adult dentistry must be of the highest quality to meet that challenge.
I consider these appointments one of the most important services in dentistry. We check all of the teeth for cavities; examine the gums; do a complete soft tissue (cancer) exam; and check the bite for any discrepancies that may be causing joint or jaw soreness. All restorations (crowns, fillings, etc.) are examined to make sure they are intact (fractures, leaking margins or wear patterns). X-rays are made in order to confirm and compliment our exam and diagnosis.
